In the Gold Needle Fractional Radio Frequency method, the shot is directly made to the subcutaneous tissues in the targeted area thanks to the gold needles. When the golden needle head of the ThermaCell RF device is brought into contact with the skin, the micro-needles automatically enter the skin at the adjusted depth. It creates fractional micro holes on the skin with a large number of gold-tipped micro needles, and while the production of collagen and elastin in the dermis is triggered by radio frequency not contacting the skin, which is sent from the needle tip, potential thermal damage is not given to the epidermis and superficial skin layers. The aim is to deliver the highest energies that can be given directly under the skin without damaging the skin.

Distinctive Features of ThermaCell RF Device

1. CIT (Collagen Induction Therapy) with microneedles

Before starting the microneedle procedure, topical anaesthetic is applied to the working area. Microneedles increase the stimulation of the skin by opening many microscopic holes in the skin and causing it to produce more collagen. Through these micro holes, products containing vitamins A and C are penetrated into the skin. Vitamins A and C stimulate the skin, helping it to revitalise, look better and younger.

2. WHM (Wound Healing Mechanism) with RF Energy

INCELL ICE’s isolated microneedle electrodes deliver bi-polar energy deep into the dermis without damaging the epidermis. Thermal energy of minimally invasive RF creates fractional electro coagulation effect in the dermis. This activates the natural Wound Healing Mechanism (WHM) in the skin. In this way, the shape of the collagen changes, the damage to the skin begins to be repaired, and the tightness of the skin increases. In addition, with the positive effect of RF energy, the activity of the sebaceous glands is slowed down and acne is reduced.

3. ThermaCell RF Gold Needle Radiofrequency

With gold needle radiofrequency application, by transferring the radiofrequency energy directly into the dermis layer with gold needles, the fibroblast cells are stimulated and new collagen production is initiated. Since the needles used here are made of gold, this method is also known as “golden needle”. ThermaCell RF Golden Needle Radiofrequency application is extremely comfortable; to minimise the pain that may occur anaesthetic creams are applied before the application. The ability to apply radiofrequency in all seasons shows an advantage over laser applications. The application takes around 30 minutes for the face area. Generally, 3-4 sessions are performed with 3–4 week intervals to treat the wrinkles and to increase the skin quality. However, more applications may be required for scars and acne scars.
