- During his studies, he spent time at major centers in England and Scotland (Cambridge, Aylesbury, Glasgow)
- Prof. Dr. Şükrü Yazar received the First Prize in 2001 for his study titled “Reverse-Flow Skin-Muscle Flap,” which was published in the journal *Annals of Plastic Surgery*
- 2002–2004 → Clinical Research Fellow at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (Taiwan), recognized as the world’s leading microsurgery center
- His research on head and neck microsurgery in children won an international first-place award in 2004
- 2007 → Associate Professor title + Turkish Board Certification in Plastic Surgery
European Board Certification in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery - Faculty member at Acıbadem University School of Medicine since 2008
