About
Graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1992 and completed specialist training in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2001. During his training he studied at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury and Canniesburn Hospital in Glasgow. He has been a faculty member at Acıbadem University Faculty of Medicine since 2008 and was granted the title of Professor in 2013. Within the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery he served as secretary and then chair of the breast working group and as a board member; on 26 October 2024 he was elected President of the society. He holds both European (EBOPRAS) and Turkish board certification.
