LEBENSLAUF

Akademische Tiefe, internationale Ausbildung, klinische Meisterschaft.

Nach seinem Abschluss an der Medizinischen Fakultät der Universität Ankara im Jahr 1992 schloss Prof. Dr. Şükrü Yazar 2001 seine Facharztweiterbildung für Plastische, Rekonstruktive und Ästhetische Chirurgie an der Cerrahpaşa Medizinischen Fakultät der Universität Istanbul ab. Während der Weiterbildung absolvierte er Stationen am Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, am Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury und am Canniesburn Hospital in Glasgow.

Seine während der Facharztweiterbildung entwickelte experimentelle Studie zu einem retrograd durchbluteten myokutanen Lappen (einem neuen Lappenmodell) gewann 2001 den ersten Preis in der Kategorie experimentelle Forschung des TPRECD-Forschungswettbewerbs und wurde in Annals of Plastic Surgery als neues Lappenmodell veröffentlicht.

Als Facharzt war er zwei Jahre lang (2002–2004) als Clinical Research Fellow am Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taipeh, Taiwan, tätig. Im Dezember 2007 wurde er außerordentlicher Professor, erhielt das TPRECD-Facharztzertifikat und 2008 die europäische EBOPRAS-Zertifizierung. Er absolvierte Zusatzweiterbildungen in Handchirurgie (2011) sowie Mund-, Kiefer- und Gesichtschirurgie (2012) und wurde 2013 zum Professor ernannt.

Als Hochschullehrer an der Acıbadem Universität war er von 2015 bis 2017 Abteilungsleiter. Am 26. Oktober 2024 wurde er zum Präsidenten der Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (TPRECD) gewählt.

Mit wissenschaftlicher Produktivität, ethischen Werten und einem patientenzentrierten Ansatz strebe ich die besten Ergebnisse in der ästhetischen und rekonstruktiven Chirurgie an.
