In dermabrasion, special diamond tips are used to slowly and controllably exfoliate the top layer of skin. By removing the epidermis and superficial dermis, the body quickly replaces these areas with new tissue. The result is an extremely taut, smooth, and fresh skin layer. Especially when applied to acne pits, dermabrasion helps to reduce superficial acne scars while making deeper scars less noticeable. It also closes pores, improves blemishes, and gives the skin a more vibrant and clear appearance.
